Gerina-Piller

Her birthplace was Roswell on the 29th of March 1985. Gerina Michelle Mendoza was her given name. Gerina Stevenson, the Mexican child of Rita Stevenson Stevenson and Alan Stevenson Stevenson was born in Mexico. Her parents are of Mexican roots, yet is American with a US national. She has always been a sports enthusiast. Gerina first started golfing at fifteen years old. Gerina went to Goddard High School for her secondary education. At the age of 16, she was a winner in the state championship golf tournament in New Mexico. As well as playing volleyball, she also competed at an official level. In 2003 she started studying at The University of Texas. During her senior years she won every tournament she played in. During the undergraduate time, she was awarded an individual award by the Conference USA for player of year as well as UTEP Female Athletic of the Year.
