Kathie Lee Gifford was the host of the fourth hour on TODAY with Hoda Kotb, from 2008 to April 5th 2019. The hour hosted by Gifford and Kotb was hailed as appointment television by Entertainment Weekly and TODAY's happy hour by USA Today. Gifford wrote TODAY The Musical in 2014. It featured the cast and crew and she also composed a monthly song for Everyone Has a Story. In 2015 she was elected to the Broadcast & Cable Hall of Fame. Gifford hosted Live with Regis & Kathie Lee, a program she hosted for 15 consecutive years. She was awarded 11 Emmy nods. She also served as the correspondent of Good Morning America for three years.
